Under the hammer!

Some Trouvé objects are at last beginning to fetch prices worthy of their inventor. At midday GMT on Thursday 24 September 2015, the London auctioneers, Bonhams of Bond Street, held sale of jewelry. Lot 15 was “A gold, enamel and diamond skull stickpin, by Trouvé and Cadet-Picard, circa 1870” Reserve Price: £8,000 - 10,000. In 1990, a skull smoking a cigar and wearing an emerald monocle had been sold at Phillips London auction of "Fine Jewellery", while another. Another gold and diamond skull had been sold at Sotheby's London auction of "Jewels", 16 December 2003, lot 106. for £11,400. So what would it fetch?
